Cookie Policy
Alpha Signal Pro uses cookies and similar technologies (collectively, "cookies") to operate the Platform, keep you signed in, and remember your preferences. This policy explains what we use, what we don't use, and how you can manage cookies.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies allow websites to remember your actions and preferences over time, so you don't have to re-enter information every time you visit a page. Cookies are not programs — they cannot execute code on your computer or access your files.
2. Cookies we use

3. What we do NOT use
Unlike most websites, we do not use:
- Analytics cookies — no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no PostHog. We measure product usage server-side from our own logs;
- Advertising cookies — no Google Ads, no Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag. We do not run retargeting campaigns;
- Third-party tracking cookies — we do not embed third-party widgets that set cookies (no embedded YouTube, no embedded tweets, no third-party chat widgets);
- Fingerprinting — we do not use browser fingerprinting to track you across devices;
- Social media cookies — links to our social media open in a new tab; we do not embed social plugins that set cookies.
4. Why we use cookies
We use cookies exclusively for essential functionality — keeping you signed in, remembering your theme and market preference, and providing a usable product experience. We do not use cookies to build a profile of you, to serve ads, or to share data with third parties.
5. Managing cookies
You can manage cookies in your browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Clearing cookies will sign you out of the Platform and reset your theme/currency preferences. Essential cookies cannot be blocked without breaking the Platform — if you block them, you will not be able to log in.
6. Cookie consent
Because we use only essential cookies and no analytics or advertising cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner. Essential cookies do not require consent under the DPDP Act or GDPR. If we add non-essential cookies in the future, we will show a clear consent banner and you will have the option to opt out.
7. Local storage
In addition to cookies, the Platform uses browser local storage to cache dashboard data and reduce server load. Local storage is not sent to the server on every request (unlike cookies) and is cleared when you sign out. It contains no personal information — only cached market data and UI state.
8. Changes to this policy
If we add, remove, or change any cookie, we will update this policy and notify you by email if the change is material.
